9 months – Mum – written 12th May – whilst watching a double rainbow
It’s 9 months since I’ve seen you
Where has all that time gone
I’ve been to hell and back
Now I know I can move on
I feel so close to you my son
I know you’re always near
So close sometimes I feel
That you could whisper in my ear
I hope you’ll stay as close
I need you to be there
To help me carry on
With the love I hope to share
You’ll always be so’special’
Someone so unique
I am so proud to have been your mother
Hope you are proud to be my son
My love for you will never end
We two are still as one
We’ll be the best ‘team’ on the planet
To carry our message home
To ’save lives’ is our mission
O’er land and sea we’ll roam
Kids everywhere will join your ‘Army’
The one which you are known
Chris Turnbull’s Barmy Army
Strength, Honour, Love, and Hugs
To everyone we’ll show
Save lives by education and fun
‘Simply the best’ they’ll ever know
C.T.B.A. xx
